As a member of the PMG family all of us here at MailSmart Logistics love to have a good time and give back to local charities.  This past quarter was no exception.

  • Recently, the gang spent a knee-slapping evening at the Baltimore Comedy Factory to benefit the Casey Cares Foundation which provides ongoing, uplifting programs for critically ill children and their families.  Lots of laughs were had and the fun evening out for the PMG family helped raise $935 to enhance the lives of critically ill children.
  • Nick’s Place will be using a $600 Costco gift card for food and supplies for their residents, because PMG matched funds donated by employees to support this organization that helps young men prevent addiction relapse through an in-house, resident program.
  • Even a mid-afternoon snack, while possibly contributing to the waistline, makes a meaningful contribution to local charities.  Our lunchroom snack box helps us raise funds.  This past quarter we were able to donate $200 to Operation Welcome Home Maryland, a nonprofit that gives soldiers returning home at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport a hero’s welcome with goodie bags, decorated lobbies and showers of praise and hugs.

The PMG family is proud to support four different charities each year with a variety of fundraising activities.  Employees vote annually on which charities they’d like to support, organize events and fundraisers and contribute their time.  They always have a great time and get to sport some unusual outfits at the office as well.  The entire PMG family has a very Caring Spirit; check out some of the other ways we’ve given back!
