Southern Area – Hurricane Michael – Gulf Atlantic District (Florida)

Gulf Atlantic District

All operations are expected to resume at the following office on Saturday, October 20.

• St Marks 779 Port Leon Dr., St Marks FL 32355

Priority Mail Express (PME) is being accepted for the following 3-digit ZIP but is NOT eligible for a guarantee until further notice.  LIVES are not being accepted at this time.

Retail Operations, Delivery Operations, and Drop Shipments are suspended at the following offices, with services being offered by the following alternate location.

• Campbellton 5265 Highway 231, Campbellton FL 32426

o   Alternate: Graceville 5360 Cliff St, Graceville FL 32440

• Fountain 12606 Silver Lake Rd, Fountain FL 32438

o   Alternate: Youngstown 11805 Highway 231, Youngstown FL 32466

All operations are suspended at the following offices. Retail Services are being offered onsite via a Mobile Retail Unit (MRU).  Drop Shipments will be accepted at the Panama City GMF until further notice.

• Lynn Haven 2319 S Highway 77, Lynn Haven FL 32444
• Panama City: North Side 1315 W 17TH St, Panama City FL 32405

All operations are suspended at the following office. Retail, Delivery Services and Drop Shipments are being offered at Panama City GMF as noted below.

• Tyndall AFB 730 Suwannee Rd, Panama City FL 32403

o   Panama City (GMF) 1336 Sherman Ave, Panama City FL 32401

The following office is not accepting Drop Shipments.  Drop Shipments are being offered at the Panama City GMF as noted below.

• Panama City: Beach 420 Churchwell Dr., Panama City FL 32407

o   Panama City (GMF) 1336 Sherman Ave, Panama City FL 32401

Alabama District

All offices have resumed normal operations.

Richmond District

October 15, 2018 2:30pm

The following retail locations are closed due to flooding caused by Hurricane Michael.

• Drakes Branch, 23937
• Saxe, 23967

Mail Services and Retail Operations for these offices will be conducted out of the Charlotte Court House Post Office, 140 David Bruce Ave, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923.

Mid-Carolinas District

All Post Offices, except those listed below have resumed normal operations.  For the closed offices below, the alternate locations are listed.

Business Mail Entry Unit operations for the Wilmington Main Post office are being conducted in the rear of the Post Office building.
