The reports about the USPS have raised many questions and speculation in this election year. Today, we share the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers’ statement, USPS Fact vs. Politics: 15 Pieces of Information to help our clients better understand the situation.
The Alliance’s statement has some very helpful information that dispels some of the silliness being reported. It also notes that there was a bump downward in on-time mail delivery this year versus last, but puts it in a legitimate context.
We track millions of pieces of mail through our MailTracker system and our reports echo the findings of the ANM. We have not found that there is a wholesale, massive delay in mail delivery. We have and will continue to share tracking data with our postal logistics clients.
